Hello Friends! Another Stick foundation review!! I used this foundation in one of my instagram videos and I really wanted to do a blog post also! Today is all about the Clinique Chubby In The Nude foundation stick. Clinique was one of the first brands that I really started to use that wasn’t something random from the chemist as a teenager. I have always loved their products.
I wasn’t not sure what to expect with this foundation as I am usually not a huge fan of stick foundations as you might have seen in my last two stick foundation reviews (hourglass and Anastasia Beverly Hills) they were nice but never quite right. This my friends is the foundation for Busy women. For women who aren’t very confident with makeup and application and different tools. This is the fuss free foundation. Keep reading to see if that is a good or a bad thing!

So this little goodie has .21oz of product which is actually less than the Hourglass or Anastasia Beverly Hills sick foundations. In Australia you will pay $50 for this and in America you will pay just $24. There are 10 shades to choose from. You guys know the price of stuff here in Australia just plain irritates me it’s just not cool.
I personally prefer to stripe this foundation all over my face (like the pic below) and then spread out with my fingers.
For me a flat top Kabuki sheers the foundation out too much and a beauty blender takes to long. You can get a total even, quick and easy application with your fingers. This is the only foundation I use with my hands.
This is why this foundation is perfect for beginners or for fuss free application. Alot of women tell me they don’t have foundation brushes and they just don’t know where to start.
A lot of the tutorials on youtube are all about the FLEEK on not many of us actually will ever wear a cut crease or a sharp wing etc on the daily, we want something to put on quickly if we are running late for work, or something that’s quick to apply while the kids eat breakfast. We want to look nice but not overdone.
For me the coverage is light/medium you can still see my skin through it but it gives me enough coverage to look more put together and to hide minor blemishes. This is also a fuss free foundation because it works quite well with normal, combination and oily skin.
There is NO transfer so it’s a good one if you rub your face a lot or have little kids. It will wear off after a lot of rubbing but it wears off quite naturally not patchy. This foundation also doesn’t cling to dry patches.
This foundation doesn’t need to be set with power and is great to throw in your bag and is easy to touch up if you need it! I set everything with the Laura Mercier Translucent powder mainly because it kind of blurs out my pores but this foundation doesn’t require setting.
This foundation is the fuss free foundation. I love this product and think its great for anyone who isn’t really confident with makeup. I don’t like the Price point i think its way to expensive, $50 is quite a bit but if this is what you are looking for you will get daily use out of it!
Let me know if you have tried this or if you are interested!
